Loft Story in the French Language Class: Mapping out the Perverse Discourse of Globalisation
Nicole Fayard

This paper analyses the phenomenon of the French version of Big Brother in relation to globalisation and democratising, and suggests techniques for its pedagogical exploitation which will enable undergraduates to reflect on intercultural issues arising out of their own experience of the programme's reception during their year abroad.
