Creole-based Trilingual Education in the Caribbean Archipelago of San Andres, Providence and Santa Catalina
Ronald C. Morren

This article depicts the impetus and drive behind the development of a primary trilingual education curriculum for the Western Caribbean Archipelago of San Andres, Providence and Santa Catalina. Based on outcomes in other multilingual education projects, the article hypothesises positive academic gains in all areas of the curriculum at a cost benefit to the national government. This paper describes the setting and then gives the details of the process of said curriculum enhancement from orthography development through course of study and other resources upgrading to the published materials.
