This paper describes the planned research and education activities of a new Grosvenor Center project: the Online Center for Global Geography Education. The CGGE project will produce, test and disseminate
digital instructional modules for global geography. Project goals will be pursued collaboratively with local, national, and international disciplinary organisations. Ultimately, the project will identify
effective, flexible strategies for managing online teaching collaborations in diverse international contexts.
