The previous papers in this Forum have dealt with important values issues in various contexts. However, any treatment of ethical matters in a journal such as this would be incomplete without some indication
of potentially useful teaching strategies. Others have called this need the 'problem of Monday morning'! This paper offers one way of coping with 'Monday morning' and attempts to deal directly with issues
of value in a secondary science classroom context.
