Graham Corney

This paper describes aspects of the methodology and conclusions of a qualitative empirical study into student geography teachers' thinking and practice in teaching about environmental issues. In a previous
paper (Corney, 1998), I described an intermediate stage in the research process, focusing on the study's conceptual framework and relevant literature, supplemented with examples of data on one student teacher.
